The firm was founded in 1976 by its principal, John M. Scarlata, and is the culmination of over three decades of personal accomplishment. The firm has produced design and construction documents for a variety of project types. These are multi faceted in scope and include both new and rehabilitated construction, historic preservation, space planning and interior design and A.D.A. Compliance.
Mr. Scarlata sets the professional direction of his firm. The designer of many projects receiving widespread recognition, Mr. Scarlata provides all clients with responsively conceived architecture.
John M. Scarlata is a registered architect in the States of New York and New Jersey. He is also certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. His professional background includes working for such prestigious architects as Edward Durell Stone, Percival Goodman and the world renown architect, I.M. Pei.
The firm has received the LIBI Platinum Award, the Project of the Year Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Community Service Award from the American Institute of Architects (Long Island), the Glen Cove Revitalization Award from the American Institute of Architects (Long Island) and many other local, state and volunteer awards.
